1st  Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and Awards Program  Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 4:00P.M. @ Sunrise Baptist Church, 3220 Lakeshore Drive. The event celebrates the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and  will honor 12 individuals in our area  for their outstanding contributions to the city of Shreveport. The theme is: “Celebrating our Heritage in Pursuit of our Destiny.”
